Club Commission Program

The club commission program allows ARRL Affiliated Clubs
to retain a portion of the ARRL dues from each new member
or renewal that the club submits.

Under the ARRL Club Commission Membership Recruitment Program, clubs
retain $15 for each NEW membership and $2 for each renewal submitted
(regular and senior memberships only).

A NEW MEMBER is defined as any individual who has never been a member of ARRL or any individual who has not retained a membership for two or more calendar years prior to the application submission.

2nd Annual Tailgate Swap Meet
September 13th, 2008

Do you need to thin out your radio stuff? Are you tripping over junk that you don't need? Is your significant other threatening to leave you if you don't get rid of those boxes of unidentifiable radio parts that have been stored in the middle of the family room since you moved in? Are you looking for that first start up radio?

Well, do I have a deal for you! The 2nd annual CCARC Tailgate

Swap Meets will help solve your problems. As they say, one man's junk is another man's treasure, and you can find both at a swap meet.

This is FREE to both buyers and sellers. That's right FREE. No charge at all. You bring the tail gate, extra tables, chairs, pop-up shelters, whatever you need to be comfortable. This event will be held rain or shine. For more information contact Rob Haller, K7JAO at k7jao@arrl.net.

There will also be a test session from 10:00 AM to NOON inside the legion hall. Come and take your test and buy a new/used radio all at the same time. For more information contact Wayne Schuler, AI9Q at ai9q@arrl.net.

Attention to All Club Officers

Monte Simpson - K2MLS has been asked to implement some new goals of the WWA Section in his role as Assistant Section Manager.

These new goals are:

1. Develop and implement youth outreach program.
2. Attract more people young/old and in between to become involved in the hobby
3. Attract more hams to the ARRL

He would like to hear from you what programs you may have in place at this time geared towards youth, the recruitment of new hams and membership in ARRL.

How to submit an update for your club records

To submit your club's annual report, simply locate your club in the database using the Web Club Search page. Once you've located your club there, click on the club name to get to the detail page for your club. At the bottom of that page is a link you can click to update the detailed data. Submitting that update constitutes your annual report. Note, though, that you can submit an update whenever you need to.
